Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and direction. The CTO will be responsible for driving innovation, developing and implementing technology solutions, and overseeing the technology infrastructure and operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering technology solutions that drive business growth and success.
Key Job Roles
1. Technology Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals and objectives.
2. Technology Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the technology team, including setting technical direction, mentoring, and coaching.
3. Innovation: Drive innovation and experimentation, identifying new technologies and trends that can be leveraged to drive business growth and success.
4. Technology Operations: Oversee the technology infrastructure and operations, including data centers, cloud infrastructure, networks, and cybersecurity.
5. Digital Transformation: Lead the company’s digital transformation efforts, including the development and implementation of digital products and services.
6. Budgeting and Cost Management: Manage the technology budget, ensuring that technology investments are aligned with business priorities and that costs are managed effectively.
7. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technology-related risks, including cybersecurity threats, data breaches, and system downtime.
8. Communication: Communicate technology plans, progress, and results to the CEO, executive team, and board of directors.
9. Talent Acquisition and Development: Attract, retain, and develop top technology talent, including engineers, developers, and IT professionals.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred.
2. Experience: 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, including experience as a CTO or equivalent.
3. Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including experience with cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
4. Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, including experience leading cross-functional teams and communicating with executive-level stakeholders.
5. Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, including experience with budgeting, cost management, and technology investment planning.
